Eligibility Criteria
- 1First be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency.
- 2Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and receive an invitation to apply.

- 4Have a suitable (positive) skills assessment for that occupation.
- 5Be under 45 years of age at the time of invitation.
- 6Achieve at least 65 points on the points test (this includes the 5 points from nomination).
- 7Formally commit to living and working in the nominating state for a specified period (typically two years).
