AHPRA email breach - 29 July 2026
Register confidential interest: AHPRA email breach group complaint
The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) allows a single representative complaint to be brought on behalf of everyone affected by the same breach. For the 136 practitioners who received AHPRA's 29 July 2026 email, this is the most efficient and least exposed way to seek compensation: one complaint, one set of legal work, shared cost, and no requirement for any individual to run their own case.
Hamilton Bailey Law is assessing whether sufficient practitioners wish to participate. Registering interest:
- is confidential, free and without obligation;
- does not make you a client of the firm and does not commit you to anything;
- simply means we will contact you, in confidence, when there is something concrete to consider, including expected costs before you decide.
